Patrick Slansky is an architectural professional and artist originally from San Antonio, Texas and currently based out of Chicago. He was educated at the College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology where he learned technical hand drafting and realistic hand rendering. His artwork is heavily influenced by his architectural profession and education with an emphasis on the built environment and how it affects the human experience. He has eight years of professional art experience working in a wide variety of media such as relief printing, oil paint, and collage with a focus on pen and watercolor. Patrick has exhibited in San Antonio and Chicago. He mostly recently participated in the group exhibition, “everyOTHERs Sketch Club Show”, at the Burnham Park Yacht Club in Chicago. Currently, Patrick is the organizer of the everyOTHER sketch group based out of Chicago.
